The story of this antenna began in a near death experience but first I mention the DIY-kit (Do it yourself kit) that is presented here in this site. In 2018 a idea is born due my medical issue and the idea was that I would like to build a motor-antenna for my shortwave radio. It was only for my daily activity and that I don't think about my severity of my disease.

This antenna should be a handy and maybe a mobil or transportable antenna. In my city is it not everywhere allow to install a shortwave antenna. A lot of HAMs are antennaless and have no possible way to install it but as a starter I have had near no money for a big antenna and this was the idea to made a small experiment with this coil motorized antenna.

The idea was clear it should be a motorized antenna for a small budget and the only way to do this is by making a DIY-kit and build it by my own.
A search at the material the design and what for a mechanic I should use was a long time experiment. This experiment don't end till the days where I bring out this DIY-kit. So other people will understand my story and accept also failures in the design and the long way that I go till today.

A long time was required to made all this small parts and details for me. In my case was it a nightmare to doing all this steps to make it happend. Sometimes I can't work a day then on a other day it seams to be that I can work for 2 hours or so. It depent on from day to day what I can do and what not. All materials is in the pdf listed. Items are also in a list viewable inside this pdf Information. A howto plan is include this information and how you can build the DIY-kit at home. Tools are required like a soldering-irom, solder, cutter, side-cutter and o lot more things! This motorized antenna has a coil in the lenght of 15m so the antenna is a 1/4 lambda antenna and need a lot of grounding. You need a lot of counterweight for the ground. A simple wire for grounding in a spiderweb form will be on flour very helpfull. Otherwise a ground metal-pin that is hit with a hammer into the ground is good for a better SWR in case of transmission. A lot of simple things are helpfull to make a better grounding.
